1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a website can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. LocalStorage is a separate browser facility that saves values for a particular website origin. Unlike a cookie, a localStorage value is not automatically attached to every HTTP request. Both technologies can fall within rules governing storage or access on a user’s device.
This policy covers the supplied static Rankrcketclipcottag website. Its own JavaScript sets no HTTP cookies. It uses a localStorage entry solely to remember your consent choices, their date and the applicable preference version. The illustrative company information in the footer does not identify a verified live operator; deployment-specific services must be reviewed before launch.
2. Storage inventory
The table distinguishes storage that is actually used from optional categories that currently contain no technologies. Essential storage does not contain your name, email, message or an advertising identifier.
| Category | Name / provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | rkc_cookie_consent_v1First-party localStorage | Remembers acceptance, rejection or custom category choices, version and expiry. | 180 days from saving; removable sooner in browser settings. |
| Analytics | None installed | No page-view measurement, visitor profiling or third-party analytics. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None installed | No optional saved palettes, embedded maps or external media preferences. | Not applicable |
3. What each choice means
Accept All records permission for the displayed optional categories. Reject Non-Essential records those categories as disabled. Preferences opens individual analytics and functional controls. Since neither optional category currently contains a service, accepting them does not make a third-party request or add another storage item.
Essential consent storage remains enabled so the site can remember your decision. All guides and the email-draft tool work without optional consent. Closing the preferences dialog without saving does not change your previous decision. On a first visit, canceling leaves the initial banner available. The site does not treat silence or ordinary browsing as agreement.
4. Change or withdraw your choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in any page footer to review or change your settings. Save both optional categories as off to withdraw optional permission. A saved record is shared across pages on the same origin and expires after 180 days. After expiry, deletion or a consent-version change, the banner may appear again.
If localStorage is blocked or unavailable, the site applies your choice for the current page only and displays a notice. No optional services run as a fallback. Private browsing may clear preferences when the private session ends. Choices made on one device or browser do not automatically transfer to another.
5. Browser opt-out instructions
In Chrome, open Settings, then Privacy and security, and find the site-data controls or search settings for “site data.” In Firefox, open Settings, Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data and Manage Data. In Microsoft Edge, search Settings for “cookies” or “site data” and open the stored-data controls. In Safari on macOS, open Settings, Privacy and Manage Website Data. Menu wording can change between versions.
Search for rankrcketclipcottag.com and remove its stored data to clear the consent record. On mobile, use the browser’s privacy or website-data settings; Safari controls may be within the device Settings app. Blocking only third-party cookies may not block first-party localStorage. Clearing site data is the more direct way to remove this record, but doing so means the site cannot remember your prior choice.
6. External sites and future changes
The illustrated map is static vector artwork, not an embedded map service. Following an external link or opening an email application is your choice and brings that service’s own privacy practices into scope. The site does not sell or share data for behavioral advertising, and no such tracking occurs regardless of a browser privacy signal.
If a live operator adds analytics, external media or other storage, it must update this inventory, assess consent requirements and obtain fresh permission where necessary before enabling the new service. Consent recorded for this empty optional inventory is not blanket authorization for undisclosed future tracking. Read the privacy policy for broader data information or use Contact for questions.
